  4. Me and some friends are looking to go out for a meal downtown this Christmas eve, before heading out and hitting the xmas eve parties... There are going to be as many as 18 of us, probably less, and we are basically looking for one of those cheap and cheerful places where we can grab a room and a large round table, order loads of dishes and get merry on wine and beers we've brought in with us. It doesn't really matter where, as long as it's not a millions miles cab ride from West Lake and the likes of G+, but atmosphere is a plus. The priority is cheap and cheerful, BYOB is pretty essential... I've been to a place like this in the sticks, like a zoo-restaurant - point at loads of things in tanks and then get drunk in a poky room with wine you've brought along - but does anyone know of anywhere like this downtown? A specific place that has decent grub maybe, or a good street for this sort of thing?

    Christmas Fun Run.

Hi Guys, This coming Saturday (December 6th) we will be hosting a fun run, starting at West Lake (Cnr. Beishan Lu & Baochu Lu) and finishing at the Vineyard beer garden. (173 Yugu lu. ) It will be a casual, lighthearted run with the emphasis on fun. Every runner will receive a free santa hat to wear during the run and at the conclusion of the run we will give away some free "Otwo plus" cold pressed juice samples and there will be a lucky draw prize for one male and one female competitor. (500rmb Decathlon gift voucher & 500rmb "wake up" hair voucher). We'll also have our mascot "Kang Kang" the Kangaroo there to say hi to the kids. Start time is 10.00 am and it will conclude at the Vineyard once all participants have arrived and we have drawn the prizes and given away some juice. Hope to see you there for a light run and a bit of fun. Cheers.
  6. I'm not a Christmas person at all, but still would like to wish our community merry xmas Whether that be dinner with family or getting blisteringly drunk, I hope you can celebrate in your own style For me, I'm playing 斗地主 in Kunming and relaxing for the day, what're everyone else's plans? (cue: discussion about how much you drank last night and/or will drink tonight)
