    eating around Yuquan campus

Hi all! as I said in my presentation topic, I'm an italian student spending a semester at Zheda Yuquan campus. I really like good food and small restaurants where chinese have their "xiaochi", so, since I wanted to remember the dishes I prefer, I started taking notes of their names... and one by one their amount grew up. I thought to start a new blog where foreign students living at Yuquan campus could know new dishes, and comment on them. It just started, but I hope it will work like a kind of "online translated menu" when the semester will be over. You can look for a particular restaurant or category of food (meat, vegetable, jiaozi,...). Hope you'll like it http://zhedayuquanxiaochi.blog.com/ any comment or suggestion will be welcome.
  2. I am Jon Kasimov, 27, and I will be starting my PhD at Zhejiang University this September. Since most of you guys have already experienced the ups and downs of living, working and studying in Hangzhou, I guess it would be wise to ask for your advice and suggestions. Can you guys please share some of your thoughts on living and studying in Hangzhou? I would very much appreciate your time and efforts and I do look forward to meeting you and becoming an active member of Hangzhou Expats group. Thanks very much.

  5. Hi everybody! I am subletting my room for all of July as I am going home. The room is part of a big 170 square foot apartment, which has 4 other students living there. The room is equipped with some of my things, a desk, a big 180cm bed and your own balcony. The apartment has a big livingroom, a dining area, two toilets, a washing machine and a functional clean kitchen (with an oven!). The rent is 2100 yuan and is non-negotionable. The apartment is situated in 世纪新城 apartment complex on 文二路. It takes about 20 minutes to get to Yuquan campus by bike and about 25 minutes to get to Zijingang, which makes it quite ideal for anyone studying in the city. Please write in the comment section below for more information.
