Question

Since I can't go home and go travelling for financial reasons, I don't know how to spend Chinese New Year. Has anyone had this kind of situation, maybe there are volunteering activities or some events?

The only thing u should enjoy is the quiet city that is called hz.. I swear the Chinese new year is by far the best period in China. Just buy a lot of food, drinks and many Blu rays so u can chill at home... Internet is fast,  air is relatively good and all the screaming people are gone to zee village.

If you have a good understanding of spoken chinese, you can watch Spring Festival Gala  on TV,it don not cost any money. To solve your financial problems, you can  use wechat ,it will have activities  sending you some red packet or some coupon. And you can join some wechat group and get the red packet sharing in the group. If you are lucky enough, you will become rich!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
