The park doesn't have an official name, but it is located on wentao road, next to the 1st bridge. If you PM me I can text you the address in Chinese

For taxis if you go to 东信大道文涛路口 you'll be at the riverside, just turn left and stop before the road starts to dip down and the park is immediately on your left.

Getting to tomorrow's BBQ is very easy if you're coming across #1 Bridge by bike, bus or taxi by taking the rear entrance into the park off Xihuan Road. If you're driving your own car follow Lemming's map since you'll need to park on Wentao Road along the river.

You can't miss the park location since its beside a new hotel project with twin towers under construction.




Park entrance is on the north side of Xihuan Road under the road sign / traffic radar speed trap at the base of the bridge. Taxi's should have no problem dropping there. Sidewalk entrance from the road 10m before you reach the sign if coming from HZ so please use it & don't walk through the flower beds!



Xihuan Road bus stop is less than 100m east & is served by #222, 404, 522 & K194 buses.



A block further east is the local transfer station where you'll find plenty of taxis in the area once the party's over at 2200.

Sorry, I'm not gonna be at this week's BBQ. Is the Sheraton planning on doing any more pool parties? I liked the first one I went to and was hoping they would continue.

Looks like I've gotten RSVP for about 50 people but I have told the chef to expect about 100, and I've got lots of booze chilling right now in our fridges. Everythings a go, we have tents ready incase it starts to rain but I doubt that will stop people from having a good time!

And as for pool parties, I haven't got anything planned yet but we will see what we can plan in the near future.

Anytime, Ben. Since I ride past that park 3 times a week I thought I'd bring a camera today to make it clear for those who aren't fortunate to live on our side of the river.

Regarding pool parties, I spoke with Andy at SPLASH over lunch & he's stocked up on some beer for the weekend. Should be a fun time tomorrow!
