Are you ready for a HOT 4th of July?
HOT American BBQ + COLD Chinese beer will help us all celebrate independence from Hangzhou's bloody heat!
Chef Marley will be at the VINEYARD servin' up some mean SLOW-COOKED PORK RIBS and GRILLED BURGERS!
There will also be some other favorite home-style back yard BBQ treats that are hard to find in this neck of the woods!
You can hang out with all your friends, watch the big TV, and enjoy ice-cold 10 RMB glasses of Tsingtao beer!
All this for only 70 RMB per guest!
Call Wade for information, and be sure to bring your appetite!
We'll see you at the VINEYARD on the 4th of July this year!

Re: Vineyard Bar in July
I missed the big 4th of July celebrations/parties in Hangzhou. How was the one at Vineyard and the others? Next year for sure!
However, I did manage to get along to Vineyard last night to enjoy their tasty American BBQ and buffet. 50RMB including free all you can drink soft drinks and one free Tsingdao beer (I suggest going with non-drinkers so you can drink their Tsingtaos!!!
)
Chef Marley had the grill fired up and the delicious aromas had me hooked before I'd even made it to the ZhongTian Tower building. Once in the beer garden, I saw a steady stream of (mostly Chinese) guests were enjoying the delicious chicken kebabs, beef pattie burgers (with Rueben's great sauce), tasty sausages, and even some small fish (a bit of a fave with the Chinese guests!).
He also had some fantastic slow cooked pork ribs!!! I had more than my fair share of those... Thank you very much Chef Marley!
Rueben said he's there for (probably) his final night behind the BBQ grill next Friday, so I suggest you get there rain or shine.
With the Four Points BBQ next Saturday night (July 31st) too much BBQ is not enough!
It was a perfect night for dining outdoors last night, so I hope next week is the same.
Thanks to Rueben, Wade and the Vineyard team for a nice evening for my friends and I.

"It's better to burn up than to fade away". Sounds cool, but not my life's motto. Actually, I'm more a "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" kinda guy, without the religious affiliations

Re: Vineyard Bar in July
Cheers LF,
Good to see you albeit momentarily last night, i was indoors glued to the Aussie rules and it was an amazing game, we had half a dozen Americans viewing and they were privileged to witness a drawn game, a rare spectacle indeed.
Agree wholeheartedly that Ruben's BBQ rocks, i had chicken breasts, salad and 2 plates of ribs, very good indeed, if the footy wasn't on i would have joined you in the garden but it looks like you hand your hands full with a couple of lovely lasses.. you old dog!! ha ha.
Hope next Friday is bigger and better!!
Rory.

Good judgment comes from experience, and often experience comes from bad judgment.
